I recently was able to choose some images from The Paper Shelter following a challenge win and this image just popped off the screen at me and I immediately had a card in mind.
I then printed the image and colored the two extraordinary people with my Prismacolor pencils. I did the band on the hat, the guy's waistband and the soles of his shoes in brown glitter gel pen and his shoes, the buckle on his hat and the studs on his waistband in gold glitter gel pen. Although one cannot see it in the photo, I applied Wink of Stella to the girl's wings. They sparkle beautifully in real life.
I then returned to my file in Silhouette Studio and cut the image out. I glued the color panel to a white 5.5x5.5 inch card base.
The merging of digital art with pencil coloring is still something I am new at. But I can see how the possibilities are limited only by imagination and I look forward to playing with it some more.

WOW! I am very impressed with your abilities to work with a digital background image. You did a brilliant job with choosing colors. I have no idea how to put a digi image on a digital background, but you have created such a beautiful and fairytale scenery that I still can not catch my breath. I love all the details of your coloring !!! A wonderful card, one of your most beautiful works. Thank you for the great inspiration and thank you for your support.
