Be a Diva

Have you ever seen an image and you just knew you had to color it? Yes, I am sure you have and so you will know how it felt when I saw this image by Julia Spiri. It is called Owl Fashionista and just look at her!!

I printed her out onto colored Canson Mi Tientes paper and colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. She needed a bright and striking hat! Once she was colored, I trimmed the panel down to 4.25x5.5 inches and glued it to the front of a cardbase. I added the intricate frame from the Spellbinders A2 Swirls Frame die set and stamped the sentiment with the Concord & 9th Perfectly Penned stampset and Versafine Onyx black ink.

You should check out Julia's shop. She has lovely images and some pre-colored elements too, if that is more your style.
