Today I have a Christmas card to show you as my DT inspiration for this month's challenge at the World Wide Open Design Team Challenge blog. The theme is always Anything Goes as long as you are a member of any design team in the world. This time I got to work with this cool image called Family of Birds done by our resident sponsor, Julia Spiri. Have you been to Paris? I have and I loved the time I spent there. So today I am awakening a little Frenchness - is that even a word?

The Mushroom House

This month I am using the image Mushroom House. The enchantment of the image makes it such fun to color. I used the mushroom class in the Kit & Clowder Elements of Nature class to practice the single shrooms that I have in my project.

First project for World Wide Open Design Team

I am so excited to finally be able to share with you that I was chosen to be a member of the Design Team at World Wide Open Design Team challenge blog. You have to be a member of at least one design team to be able to enter their challenges and so the projects entered are amazing. 

Another exciting aspect here is that Julia Spiri is the artist that sponsors the challenges and her digis are lovely - a whimsy sort of fantasy. There are various prize categories and certificates awarded so if you are on any design team, be sure to check the challenges out.

So here is my first project.

The Fantasy Hat

I am back with another card today. I had this image called Fantasy Hat by Julia Spiri printed out for a while and now it finally got colored and converted into a card.
