Window Inspiration
Today I am posting a project I made to join in the Altenew Monthly challenge as the inspiration picture really spoke to me this month. I have added it to the blog post so you can see the starting point of this project. I decided to go with a window on my card as this was the point that I found inspiring.

My new Brother
So who is my new Brother - well a printer, of course!! Our old printer had been going astray for a while and it had got onto my last nerve. Also, it would not take any thicker paper, so true one layer cards were not something I could do. So when needing a new printer, the ability for it to take thicker paper was a must. I wanted a laser so I could foil and so that I could print digis and use water based mediums. So yes, I had a laundry list of requirements. But I found one that filled them all. The Brother HL-L3290CDW. After initial setup and testing, the first thicker paper to test was watercolor paper and it printed my digi beautifully through the through pass for thicker paper.

Trying watercolor pens
Today I have a card with a difference. I recently was able to get a set of Arteza real brush pens at an amazingly discounted price and so I had to try them out. I thought this image would work perfectly. It is a stamp in my wood mounted stamp stash by Stamps Happen, Inc called His Symphony.
