Collage Art ATCoins

Time for a new challenge over at Crafts Galore Encore. Who can believe that it is December already? This is my final project on the Crafts Galore Encore Design Team as I have resigned my position on a number of the teams I was on this year to free up some time for 2020.

Our sponsor this month is Gecko Galz and I got to work with the Flower Power Paper Pack, the Spring Charms Digital Collage Set and the Charming Words Collage Set. I decided they were the perfect combo to make ATCoins with and so I opened my trusty GIMP and Silhouette Studio and got to work.

This is my DT inspiration for the November Crafts Galore Encore challenge. Our sponsor this month is Beccy's Place and I got to work with this image from the Road Trip digital stamp set. Since we are now RV'ing, this image spoke to me.

Cuppa Mouse

It is the first of the month already and so time for a new challenge over at Crafts Galore Encore. Our theme is always Anything Goes and this month our sponsor is Limited Runs Digital Stamps. I got to work with this sweet digi called Cuppa Mouse.

The Autumn Fairy

Time for another challenge at Crafts Galore Encore since it is the first of the new month. This month our sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy and I got to work with this lovely lady called Autumn Fairy. I had never worked with any of Fabrika Fantasy's stamps before, so this was a first for me.

Birthday Greetings

It is May already and here I am with a new project for the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. Our sponsor this month is A Day for Daisies, the theme is as always Anything Goes and the prize is a $8 gift certificate to the A Day for Daisies store. I am using the image called Happy Birdie Orange.

Christmas Elf

Sunbonnet Flowers

I chose to work with this sweet image called Sunbonnet Flowers. I printed her out onto Strathmore Toned Tan paper. There is just something about colored pencil on colored paper.

Silence...

It is the 1st of February and time for a new challenge over at Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog. As always, the theme is Anything Goes and this month the sponsor is Morgan's Artworld. The winner will receive the 3 images used by the design team.

I got to work with Fae 3 and opted to create a page in my art journal with her. I printed her out and colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I then fussy cut her out.

A pocket full of Posies

It is the first of the month and this time also the first of the year. I wish you all a happy and successful New Year and especially a healthy one.

I am using the digital stamp called Pocket full of Posies. I printed the image on Stathmore Colored Pencil paper (400 series) and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. 

The empty chair

It is time for another challenge over at Crafts Galore Encore and this month our sponsor is Beccy's Place and the winner will get one free set of digital stamps.

I chose to work with the rocker from the Gran's Chair set. My concept changed from choice to implementation and so the card became a sympathy card. While coloring the basket I thought the empty chair lent itself well in that direction.

Christmas Carolers

I am excited to be able to share my first project as a DT member at Crafts Galore Encore. This month the prize is being sponsored by Limited Runs - which is a new-to-me digital art studio. I got to work with the image Christmas Carolers from the Christmas seasonal section. The idea for this card was right there when I saw this image.

I printed the image out onto my usual favorite coloring paper, namely Strathmore Paint Pad paper and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I created the background with Crayola Watercolor paints on Master's Touch Watercolor paper, painting the colors on with free abandon.  I cut the background to 3.5x4.75 inches and glued it onto a white cardbase.

I fussy cut the colored carolers and popped them up in the corner of my card with foam tape. I wanted them to be a focal point, despite them being in the corner.

I die cut the nativity scene from vellum and liberally applied glue to the back so that it would reactivate the watercolor under the vellum and so transfer some of my paint onto the scene as I wanted it to be a background element on this card. I stamped the word peace and the star with Versmark ink and white heat embossed them. I completed the card with a few added stars that I drew in with my gel pen. I love how this card turned out.
