Glitter everywhere!

Glitter! Does that evoke an emotion in you when you hear that word? Well emotions aside, it does make projects beautiful. And this month that is the item from your stash that you need to use in the Outlawz Crash your Stash challenge. The purpose of the challenge is to prompt you to use that long forgotten item in your stash that is just sitting there.

I opted to make a Christmas card for my DT inspiration for this month. Christmas and glitter go together, I believe. I added some patterned vellum to a mint cardbase and added a strip of double-sided tape to each side of the card and covered them in red glitter. The focal point of my card is another truck from the Spellbinders October Large die of the month kit and I added a label with a sentiment stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink above the truck. A little white gel pen added some highlights to the tires.

I would encourage you to join the Outlawz Challenges and take a look around. There are a bunch of different challenges that you can play along in.

And be sure to find that bottle of powdered glitter, for this month's Crash your Stash, that you have not used for a while - no glitter paper, no glitter glue, only the real thing allowed.

General supplies:
Cardstocks and patterned papers from my stash
Paperstudio cardbases and coordinating envelopes
Red glitter
Spellbinders October large die of the month kit dies
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Sentiment stamp from my stash
White gel pen

  2. A great Christmas card. Way to stay ahead of the game.

Glitter, oh how pretty. Oh, how I wonder why it's in my kitchen, it's in my drawers, some family members wear it and they don't even touch it. Some wear it and they don't even live here. I can't seem to manage it. It gets away from me but I do love it. [Bunny]``
