Spring Greetings

I am full of firsts this month! I was asked a while back to join the Rabisco Challenge blog as a DT member for the middle of the month posts. I agreed and so here is my first project.

The sponsor this month is Some Odd Girl and I chose to work with this cute hedgey and his flower.

I printed the image onto Canson Mi Tientes sand colored paper and colored him with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I added a little white gel pen to his nose. Once colored, I cut the image out with an oval infinity die. I adhered a panel of patterned paper from my stash to a cardbase and added the focal image to the card.

I cut the sentiment with dies from the Spellbinders February small die of the month kit. I cut each word twice out of white cardstock and once out of black cardstock and stacked them together to add some dimension. I completed the card by adding a button as the center of the flower.

Head over to the Rabisco Challenge blog and see how to enter your projects. You may use any image.
