Today I have a very traditional Valentine's Day card to share with you - well maybe traditional as far as the colors used are concerned.
The focal image on this card is from the Very Mice Coloring Book Volume 1 and then from the page Berry mice!
I then cut the focal image panel down and matted it onto a red 4.75 x 6.75 inch card panel which I then adhered to a white 5x7 cardbase. I then cut three hearts with my nested stitched heart dies, two in red glitter cardstock and one from textured metallic gold cardstock and glued them overlapping in the top, right hand corner. I punch mini hearts out of the same paper and dotted them around the mouse.
I completed the card with a sentiment that I printed out on my computer and trimmed down to a banner size. I fastened it to my card with foam tape.
I had great fun creating this card. It seemed to just come together so easily.
General supplies:
Strathmore Toned Tan paper
Bazzill Marshmallow Heavyweight cardstock
Red, red glitter and metallic gold cardstock
Berry mice image from the Very Mice Coloring Book Vol. 1
Prismacolor pencils
Nested stitched heart dies from my stash
Mini heart punch
