A sweet giraffe

Did you know giraffe's can have more than one heart? Well since it is time for  another challenge over at Colour Crazy Challenge blog, I thought I would show you that it is possible. Our sponsor this time is Oddball Stamps Co and I got to work with this digi called Kawaii Valentine Giraffe. As you can see, he has lots of hearts.

I printed him out onto Tobacco Canson Mi-Tientes paper and colored him with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once completed, I trimmed the drawing paper down and then added him to a card that had a piece of patterned paper added to the cardbase. I die cut the word hello from a piece of the trimmed off drawing paper. Cutting it out twice, I adhered the two together to give the sentiment some dimension. I called my card done. I did not think the cute giraffe needed any more embellishment.

You have two weeks to enter our challenge at Colour Crazy. The theme is always Anything Goes as long as your project has hand coloring on it. Looking forward to seeing your creations.

  5. Oh, he's so adorable, Monica. I love his hearts! Great coloring and your paper choice is marvelous. I have a friend who loves giraffes and she collects them in all forms. I make Christmas and birthday cards for her each year with giraffes. I'll have to get this image and use it for one of her cards. :-D
