My first take leaves off the white oval in the center as I did not want to cover up the beautiful 3D embossing that I did on the center panel. I did add the sentiment with a die sentiment strip across the bottom.
My second take is using paper out of a Christmas paper pack and since the pack has cut aparts with sentiments on them, I decided to again not add a white oval, but rather matte the cut aparts onto gold cardstock like the other pieces and add that to the middle.
This sketch yields eight cards, four each of a kind. I used 6x6 paper rather than 12x12, so my cards are not exactly opposites.
Then I have two more cards to show you using the July Sheetload of Cards sketch. In my previous post I had made a pink and purple set. Here I also did a Christmas set and then a blue and cream set using up some more of that stashed patterned paper. I embossed that mini slimline cardbases for each as I really liked that look on my previous set.
I have really enjoyed making these sets of multiples. It serves two purposes, uses up some of my paper and fills up my donation box.

I am not a crafty person to this extent but I enjoy looking at your cards. They are again so lovely. Keep it up. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of new card designs, all very pretty, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteLoving the shiny gold paper on the Christmas cards, Monica! Wonderful sketch work, too. The birthday card works so well even without the oval and your last card is so lovely. It's always nice to have some really general Hello or Thinking of You cards in the mix. 😊
ReplyDeleteLove your express method! Gorgeous cards and money envies. Just keep going a while, you will get more made than moi! Slow going over here, just now beginning #7, lol. xoxo
