Whew, I barely made it!! July has been a crazy month and I seemed to not have much time to sit down and enjoy my pencils. But I carved out a bit of time to complete this sweet image called Coloring Sophie by Little Blue Button Stamps. She was the image for the July Outlaws Progressive Challenge.
I printed Sophie out onto Daler-Rowney Drawing paper and colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once she was completed, I cut her out with a stitched label die. I used a bigger die from the set to cut another label out of pink cardstock and glued the two together.
I added the framed image to a top folding standard notecard sized cardbase. I completed my card by adding a sentiment from a Kaisercraft stampset stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.
The Outlaws Progressive Challenge is such fun. As long as you keep participating, you will find a new image in your email inbox on the first of every month. What fun to see everyone's interpretation of the same image!
