This week seems to have flown by, but here I am with another inspiration project for the Colour Crazy challenge blog. The theme is always Anything Goes as long as you have handcoloring on your project. This fortnight our sponsor is Skeepski Designs and I have used the image called Perfect Pointe.
Once she was colored, I returned the sheet to Silhouette Studio and cut out the dancer and the cardpanel background. I cut the dancer's shape another time out of white cardstock and glued her onto it to provide a sturdier background to add the foam tape to. I ran a black marker along the outline of the dancer and then added foam tape to the back and popped her onto my cardpanel.
I completed the card by adding the panel to a dusty pink cardbase.
We look forward to seeing your hand colored projects over at the Colour Crazy Challenge blog. You have a fortnight to enter.
Blogland friends, I am sorry that I have been MIA as far as visiting your blogs this week. Hubby ended up in the hospital and so I have been otherwise consumed. I hope to catch up over the weekend.

So sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he is much better.
ReplyDeleteI love this card. The coloring of the folds is beautiful. This is where I need help in coloring. I'll be going to Jennifer Dove's Copic Boot Camp in October. I'm sure she'll learn me something. [Bunny]
Your little dancer is gorgeous, Monica. The colouring is fabulous, especially the folds in her dress! Beautifully designed card! x

Hi, Monica! Goodness - you have been so busy and torn in different directions. I hope your hubby is soon recovered and feeling his old self again. Sending good thoughts your way. Also, thank you for your many kind comments this month. Your ballerina card is INCREDIBLE! The "explosively colorful" shadow brings lots of movement and emotion to your masterpiece and that incredible coloring with PC pencils is outstanding! thanks for sharing the beauty of this gorgeous card! Monica, this card is absolutely gorgeous. I always learn so much when I read how you put your cards together. I did figure out how to cut my images on my Cricut thanks to you. I cut my recent "stepsisters" card that way. Then just yesterday I was trying to think how I would use digital papers. And now you have given me new reason to buy some. I'm so impressed with your technical knowledge. Thanks for being such a good teacher!!! Love this girly card so much. xo
