Treasure Box Designs

I don't think I have ever done three card posts in one day!! But it is the first of the month and I guess that is making it happen. This project is for the Cute 'N Crafty Christmas Challenge blog and our sponsor is Treasure Box Designs. The prize is 2 digis from the store and the theme is Anything Goes Christmas or Winter. I am working with one of the angels from the Trio Angels digi.

Using Silhouette Studio software I sized the digi to fit on my card in the position I wanted and printed her out onto Daler-Rowney drawing paper. I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and with my glitter gel pens. Once she was done, I cut her out with my Silhouette Cameo. Using the outline of the frame that I had drawn around her, I created a second oval using the offset option in the software. I filled this oval with the same red that is in the digital paper that I used on the background panel. The paper is by KHDigi. While still in Silhouette Studio, I created the 4x5.25 cardpanel with the digital paper and printed both the oval and the panel out and then cut them with the cameo.

Using a stamp from my wood mounted stamp stash, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then adhered the panel to a green cardbase and added the angel to the red oval, a teeny bit offset to the left, and the focal element to the cardpanel.
