I decided to try my hand at paper piecing digitally. So I got to work in Silhouette Studio and resized the birdhouse to cover the whole card. I wanted to make it the very central part of my card. Since it is a .png, Silhouette Studio added cut lines and so I was able to work with the different sections individually and so fill them with digital paper. I printed the house out twice and fussy cut the two printouts. I ran a black marker along the cut edge.
Using a tan colored cardpanel, I glued the one house directly onto the card and then popped the second up with foam tape. I completed the card with a "hello" die cut added to the front of the digi.
The Bird Houses Digital Stamp Set comes with 4 different house shapes and lots of possibilities. Take a look.
