For my first project with the die set, I made a card that is more Spring themed and uses the dies as they were intended. The focal background with the lattice die cut is so versatile and makes a lovely background for a sentiment or focal point. I used the Embossing Folder of the Month folder for the background on my card panel.
I added a bunch of flowers at the bottom of the lattice piece. All these dies are included in the die set. The sentiment is from a sticker book that I had picked up on sale at Hobby Lobby. I completed the card by adding a few small gems from my stash dotted here and there.
While I was making the purple flowers in my first example, I thought "Hey, these could easily be pumpkins!" And so I made a second card using the same set with a fall theme. I cut the flowers out of water watercolor paper and then held them upside down and trimmed them to be pumpkins. I colored them with my Arteza Real Brush pens and coated them with clear Wink of Stella.
I blended a cardpanel with my Memento inks and cut the lattice from white cardstock and the solid piece behind it out of vellum. I added the pumpkins and some foliage to the lattice and completed the card with some gems from my stash and another sentiment out of the same sticker book.
