For my first card, I used the background stamp called Joyful words and stamped it with my Memento inks in an ombre style onto some light green cardstock. I applied the different inks directly to the stamp and then stamped it onto the paper. The sub-sentiment comes from the same stamp set. I stamped that in Versamark ink and embossed it in gold embossing powder.
I added the embossed sentiment to the middle of the card and then also created the gnome from the Holly Jolly Gnome die set and sat him in the bottom corner of the card.
My second card is a lot more elegant, but for that very difficult to photograph. I used the background stamp called Pretty Pine Background and stamped it in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I added the sentiment strip from the Joyful Words stamp set which I also embossed in gold. Both the sentiment strip is matted on a red foil cardstock strip and I added two strips of red foil cardstock to each side of the gold embossed panel. I think this background stamp would also look great watercolored.
