I spent some days over the holidays last week coloring. I love using my pencils, it is so peaceful and relaxing and just the therapy I needed. You saw the little rabbit on Tuesday and today I have a magical scene to show you.
I recently discovered Isabel Cristina Stamps on Instagram and finally got to look at her Etsy store and found she has a number of scene building digis, much like some very popular stamp sets. So I did a little shopping and here is a card I made using two of the sets. I printed all the elements onto my favorite Canson paper and then colored them in with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
The background scene and the two single flowers were cut without an offset and layered onto two more shapes cut from black cardstock after running a black marker along the edge. The little gnome got an offset and was layered onto more shapes cut out of white cardstock.
I assembled the square card using patterned paper and some Honey Bee Stamps horizon dies for the ground and the grass and added a die cut sentiment. I have some more of Isabel's stamps coming up in a future project. Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteWow, the coloring is beautiful and so well blended on this! Thank you for the birthday card. It is beautiful. My husband was amazed and asked how did she do that? He loved it. I have seen the dies, but have never before seen an actual card. I love the layering of the colors. Thank you again!
