Hello friends, unfortunately I am back today with another sympathy card to show you. This one is for a lady who lost her eldest son. I decided to depict some imagery on this one for her.
The card is an A2 sized notecard and I cut a black panel at 4x5.25 inches to place on the notecard base. I then cut another panel one eighth inch smaller in white cardstock and stamped the Deepest Sympathy sentiment on it in London Fog ink. I then added the stamped panel to the black one.
My focal point is a golden heart die cut from gold foil cardstock and then cut into pieces to depict a shattered heart. The blue flower is the representation of her son. I completed the card with the word Peace cut from Quickutz dies and the sub-sentiment printed on my printer. I added a blue gem to the center of the flower.
Since this card needs to go in the mail, I have kept it as flat as possible.

ReplyDeleteOh, this is beautiful, Monica. So emotive, I'm sure she will be comforted. Love the sentiment. Really great job piecing the Peace alphas - mine never look that good which is probably why I don't use my cursive alpha fonts much, xoxo
