I created a 5x7 inch cardbase out of black heavyweight cardstock. I have a rose stamp that I won in a giveaway and so I stamped into the top right-hand corner of the card with Versamark ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder. I then used the watercolor paints to paint the roses and the leaves.
Since I was delivering this card by hand, dimension was not an issue on this card. I put a cluster of mulberry paper roses in the bottom left hand corner.
I cut the sentiment out of gold foil cardstock using a Spellbinders die set and a Hero Arts set. I added Stick-it adhesive to the back of the cardstock before cutting out the words. That makes it so much easier to stick them down onto the card.
To complete the presentation, I made a box envelope that was half an inch thick to be able to go around the roses without squishing them using my envelope punchboard. The box envelope was held closed with a ribbon.
