I recently discovered the The Outlawz. I was looking for crafting communities outside of the Facebook platform and that is how I discovered them. There are a number of challenges, one being a monthly Progressive Challenge. Since I took part last month, I automatically got the image this month - these eggs drawn by Sandra VanBlaricum, an Outlawz DT and admin.
I don't usually make Easter cards, so it took me a bit to find inspiration for this image. But it hit me - chocolate! Yes, chocolate Easter eggs are the best and I buy them every year.
I then cut the image out with a stitched rectangle die and cut two sizes of cardstock out in brown and pink respectively with the same set of dies. I ran the pink through my embossing machine with a Darice embossing folder.
Finally I printed the sentiment out on my computer onto white cardstock and cut it with a circle die. I inked the edges in Memento Rose Bud ink and popped it onto my card with foam tape. Do you also love chocolate Easter eggs?
