My first card uses the Mini Flower die set. I cut the quilt pieces out of two patterned papers and red cardstock. I pieced it together to make the above pattern. I added Vintage Photo ink to the edge of a kraft cardpanel and wrapped a bit of textured ribbon around it before adhering it to a white cardbase. I completed the card with a red faux seal on which I had used a small sentiment stamp from my stash and heat embossed it in white.
My second card is using the Log Cabin die set. I opted to go for a color block option here rather than the traditional Log Cabin design. I added the paper quilt to grey cardpanel which I added to a white cardbase. The sentiment is a beautiful script die.
I still think I prefer paper quilting to fabric quilting, so I am sure that you will see more efforts from me in that regard.

These cards looks so lovely. I really like this quilting idea on your cards. Something different. Keep going! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting twice today! Love the quilt cards. I bought a couple of sets of their new quilting dies. They are so pretty. I have a set of seven different quilt dies from another manufacturer that I use every Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully put together cards, a lovely result too.
