I printed this cute chick with an envelope called Sketch Little Bird out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper and decided to break out my old Colleen colored pencils to color the image. I had not used them in a while and discovered them again when setting up my new craft room.
I cut the image out with a Spellbinders nesting die set and also cut one of the shapes, a bigger size though, out of black cardstock. I used the new Spellbinders embossing folder for the yellow card panel and I added the sentiment also done with die cuts.
I look forward to creating more projects with Patricia's sweet images in the future.

Congratulations on entering the new DT. I'm glad you'll be forced to create cards more often. And this entry card is just lovely. I love this cute image, the yellow background is a perfect match for this little chicken and the fact that it has been embossed in EF adds even more charm to the card

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new DT, darling card, so fun and cheery, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new DT. I am still enjoying only having to make one DT card a month. My spine pain has been kicking up pretty bad lately from all the sitting I'm doing by homeschooling. One card is about the right speed for me now. Although, this month I need to make quite a few men's birthday cards fot family members. This is so cute! I love the image and the coloring.
