New Crafty Chefs Challenge

Today is the first Tuesday of the month and so time for a new Crafty Chefs challenge. As I had announced in my previous Crafty Chefs post, we now only have two requirements to enter. This month the requirements are "Add a flower" (can be focal image, embellishment or background) and "Add Gold" (can be embossing, foil, gold cardstock, etc).

I am showing off a simple card for my project for this month. The hand and flowers are cut from a previous Spellbinders Small Die of the Month club kit. I think the hand is so versatile and I look forward to making more cards with it. The flower centers are drawn in with a white gel pen.

The sentiment is also a Spellbinders die and is cut out of gold mirror cardstock. I matted my white cardpanel onto a black matte which I in turn adhered to a white top-folding cardbase.

If you make a card this month with a flower on it and some gold, come and share it with us over at Crafty Chefs. It is a fun group with no pressure to participate.
