And this time, I got it right. The panel cut as one piece (except for the little star outlines on the right that had nothing to hold on to and so I had to place them onto my card front manually). But those around the digi are all one piece with the frame. I printed the digi onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper and after cutting him out, I colored him with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I used a gold glitter gel pen to color the big bow on the gift. Usually I color and then cut, but since this was still very much an experiment, I did not want to cut after coloring on this one.
Once colored, I glued the panel down onto a piece of green foil cardstock and adhered it to a white notecard base. The sentiment is a very old wooden stamp that I stamped in Versafine ink and cut out with a Hero Arts Infinity oval. I cut two more ovals and glued them together to stack them for dimension.
I have a pencil color chart for you to download again. Please just follow my blog before downloading.

ReplyDeleteAgain, the cut file master at work, although in my ignorance I really don't see your insistence on one layer, I know you've explained, just don't share the desire. I admire your tenacity with seeing what this machine can do for you, though, always! And another pretty Christmas card done to boot - Yay! xoxo
