Since I am home again and have access to my whole crafty stash, I used Silhouette Studio to design my card. I created a 5x5 inch square and filled it with the background. I added the digi over it and then printed it out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper. I was impressed with my new printer and how it coped with the colored background. I colored the image with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
Once completed, I cut the square out. I cut a matte of black cardstock at 5.25x5.25 square and matted my image with it. I added it to a 5.5x5.5 cardbase. I completed the card with a word die and its shadow from my new die set. I am enjoying dies with shadows. The shadows make a big difference to visibility on a busy background.
There is not much time left this month, but Outlawz has a new Progressive Challenge every month and the new digi shows up in your inbox on the first of every month if you took part the month before.

ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Love your pencil coloring. I don't have any of those word dies with the shadow and they always look so good to me, sigh! xoxo
