My first card has three circle shapes in the background. Using the Spellbinders dies, I cut the circles from the adhesive sheets only, no cardstock or paper involved. It worked really well. I am not sure how well it would work with a very intricate die, if the release paper would come off while removing the cut from the die, but with these circles it worked really well.
I added the adhesive sheet die cuts to a card panel and then removed the release paper on the top and added the foil. The results were stunning. I them completed by my card by adding the Altenew Craft-a-Flower Antique Roses in pink. I completed the card with a sentiment cut out of black cardstock.
My second card also uses the the same die set for the roses. But this time I stamped the image I wanted to foil and added clear embossing powder. I then laid the foil on the stamped image and ran it through my laminator. I probably should have done another round of stamping and embossing as the foil is a little "distressed". But I will try that next time.
I added the roses below the flourish and then added the sentiment and added the cardpanel to a black cardbase.
I love foil on a card and am so pleased with the adhesive result. I will try both of these techniques some more, but I have to replenish my foil supply first.

I Pinned this though because I know it's expert knowledge. When I get past allergy season, hope it will make sense. lol XOX
