Today I am back again with a new card, this time a sympathy card. I love lilies on sympathy cards and so reached for my Altenew Craft-a-Flower lily and chose some pastel colors and white for the layers of the lily and green for the stem and leaf.
I created a top-folding white cardbase and using the Splatter Stencil, I added some light blue Memento ink to the background with a blending tool for a bit of subtle interest. After assembling the flower, I added some black marker to the edge to "lift" it off the white background slightly.
The sentiment was generated on my Silhouette Cameo and cut out of black cardstock. I cut the word "Beileid" twice and glued them on top of each other for a bit of added dimension, but still keeping the card flat to go through the mail.
I added the flower and the leaf to the stem and added it to the card next to the sentiment and cut off the bottom of the stem evenly at the card's edge.
