It's a boy

Today I have another card to show you that I made with the same Baby Gnome digi from Kinda Cute as I used for the girly card I made earlier in the week.

Since I had separated out the gnome in that other card so that I could cut it separately and pop it onto my card, I added a second one in Silhouette Studio adding an offset so that the digi had a white edge all around it and printed it onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper. Once it was colored with my Prismacolor colored pencils, I returned it to the Silhouette and cut it out. I cut a second shape from white cardstock and then adhered the two together.

My card is made up of a 5.5x5.5 cardbase onto which I  adhered the yellow gingham paper. I added a yellow strip down the right side of the card and stamped "it's a" in Memento ink with a Spellbinders stamp. The teddy bear and the word "boy" are cut with dies from my stash. I grounded the little gnome with a piece of washi tape before adding him popped up on foam tape.

I completed the card by adding Scribbles fabric paint to the eyes and nose on the bear to give it a bit of shine and dimension.
