I removed the white background from the digi and then imported her into my background. I resized her to fit and then placed her on a layer between the layers of the hills and trees. I added another layer and used this to add a shadow under her feet since the sun is shining from behind her. I then exported the completed scene to a .jpg image.
Once exported I moved the image to my PC and opened it into a 4x5.25 inch rectangle in Silhouette Studio. I then added a quarter inch offset and tried various colors from the background with the eye dropper tool to fill the offset and settled on a shade of orange. I then printed the image out onto Canson C a grain paper and colored the digi with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
Once completed I cut the image down to size with my paper trimmer and added it to a standard notecard. I completed the card with a die cut sentiment added to the bottom right hand corner.
