This first one is a Yorkshire Terrier. I inked the edges of the pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and a sponge dauber. Although the pieces are intricate, they fit well together and the doggies are not difficult to assemble. I have a Pinterest Board of different ways in which folks have put them together.
The card is notecard size with a light pink card panel. I stenciled a background of dog paws with a Brutus Monroe stencil with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. I then inked over the paws with Spun Sugar. I cut an oval out of the background and placed it in the center of the card, framed it with a frame of darker pink cardstock. The sentiment is a Gummiapan die cut out of black cardstock.
The second card is for a sadder occasion. A friend of mine lost his German Shepherd and so I used the die set to create a German Shepherd. The cardpanel is light yellow with darker rays cut with a Spellbinders slice die. The sentiment is done with an alphabet die set in my stash. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the neckerchief to add a bit of sparkle and used a black Glaze pen on his eyes and nose.
There are more dog breeds that can be made with this die set. Depending on coloring and combination of pieces, the sky is the limit.
