I printed the digi out onto Canson XL watercolor paper and colored the body with Arteza Real Brush markers. I colored the yellow spots and nose as well as the gift and ribbon with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Colored pencils works well on watercolor paper. Once I had completed the coloring, I fussy cut the image out. I did cut off the flowers that came with the original digi as I was going to add them as dies and thread. I ran a black marker along the edge of the cutout digi.
A card panel was created with shades of purple, using the Spellbinders slice die. I added the lizard to the right side of the card with foam tape. Using another Spellbinders die, I created two small flowers and added them to the card, using black button thread as the stems.
I completed the card with the "for you" sentiment cut out of white cardstock. Patricia has some really cute digis in her shop and they are very versatile to be used for many different occasions.
