A card with gold foil

Today I am here with not only a blog post, but also my very first attempt at a video of my process. I wanted to make an Easter card for each of the families in our small congregation and so opted for gold foil and white. I think this is a very elegant look.

I have a laser printer and so I created the sentiment in Silhouette Studio and printed it out. I then foiled the sentiment with gold toner reactive foil (you can see that process in more detail in the video). In addition to the toner foiling, I also used gold foil cardstock. This shows that one can combine both on one project.

I cut the crosses and the sentiment matte out of the gold foil cardstock. These were then added to a cardpanel that was embossed with a Darice embossing folder.

I would love it if you would subscribe to my YouTube channel while you are there.
