Digital stamps and foil

Today I have a DT project to show you for Kinda Cute. I did one of my favorite techniques here, which is combining digital papers with a hand colored focal point. Patricia created the sweet digi, the background papers that I used and the sentiment.

I created my design in Silhouette Studio, applying the layers and adding two papers from the
Coral Easter digital papers set onto two background layers in the software, rotating the top one to give a layered look. I then added the Butterfly with Flower digi and added an offset so that I would have a white border around the digi to "lift" it off the background. I printed the design out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper and colored the sweet butterfly with my Prismacolor colored pencils.

I cut the panel out once I had the image colored and matted it onto a black piece of cardstock before adding the panel to a white notecard. The sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiments Basics set and I printed the combo sheet out and did another foil test. This one worked perfectly and I now have a whole sheet of foiled birthday sentiments that I cut into strips.

I completed the card by cutting the foiled sentiment out with a circle die and cutting another circle out of black cardstock and matting the sentiment with it.

I would like to invite you over to the Kinda Cute Facebook Group as there is a monthly challenge in the group.
