I designed my card in Silhouette Studio, creating a card panel that measures 4x5.25 inches. I filled the rectangle with a digital paper from the Flower Power Paper Pack by Gecko Girls and then placed the digi on top. I created an offset to the girl's cutline to create a white edge around her and filled the offset with white. Then I printed her out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper.
I colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I used the metallic silver and gold pencils for her wings and although there is no shading on them, I do love how they turned out. Once she was colored, I returned her to the Silhouette, being sure to switch off the cutlines for the girl and the offset as I wanted this all to be one layer.
I completed my card by adhering the card panel to a light purple cardbase and used an Altenew die to create a sentiment for the bottom corner.
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping by.

Gorgeous colours and card Monica, loving this. x
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Monica. This is so beautiful. I love the paper and your coloring is just amazing. What a stunning card. I wish I knew how to use my Silhouette. I have no clue how to do that type of thing. Right now, I have trouble cutting a simple image. I suppose I will learn, eventually.
ReplyDeleteA really sweet image beautifully coloured, love the whole card design. Thanks for joining us at TPS, good luck with the challenge. hugs Shirleyxxxxx

Oh Purple! Be still my heart! You are a hybrid whiz! Offsets, eh? Will have to see if I have that in my old PSE. I've made white borders on card sketches that I needed to print and made the printer paper background very light gray, I suppose that's the same thing but I just created a rectangle 1/4" bigger than the sketch, then dumped the sketch on it centered. Anything similar? It's a miracle I know anything in PSE because I learned everything I know intuitively and can't learn or remember unless I do it that way. {Sigh} xoxo
ReplyDeleteBeautifully coloured cute image and love the pretty P.paper

this girl's coloring is stunning !! Her dress looks so realistic, I love all the shadows on the frills of the dress. You are a true master of the art of pencil coloring. I won't even mention a word what I think about combining two digi images in one card. How can you be soooo capable? No, just kidding, I admire your skills
