Today I am showing you my card for this month's progressive challenge at Imagine That Digistamp. This month's image is called Honey Bear and comes with uncolored and colored versions. But, I am using the uncolored version so that I could color him with my pencils.
I created my card design in Silhouette Studio so I could size the digi and create cut lines for him. I printed him out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper and colored the bear with my Prismacolor colored pencils and I colored the bees with gel pens. I then returned the bear to the Silhouette and cut him and the bees out. I cut two additional shapes for the bear and each of the bees respectively out of black cardstock.
I ran a black marker along the edge of the digi and then glued it to the black shapes that I had cut out. Additionally, I cut out a white heart and ran it through a diamond shaped embossing folder. I placed the bear onto a white cardbase with the heart behind the bear and also placed the two bears.
I completed the card with a banner die cut sentiment cut out of blue cardstock. I have enjoyed playing along with Imagine That Digistamp's progressive challenge.
