Progressive at Outlawz

Ok friends, it is March 1 and so time for a new Progressive Challenge over at the Outlawz Progressive Challenge. I am still on the southern side of the world, so this is another project I did before I left. I will be returning in a few days though.

Our sponsor this month is Sheepski Designs and the image is called Giant Mushroom.

I designed my card in Silhouette Studio by creating a 4x5.25 inch rectangle and filling it with a digital paper called Toadstools from the Pumpkin Delight Collection by We Are 3 Digital Shop. I then placed the digi on my card space and using the cutline, I created an offset which I filled with a black to white gradient. I printed my design out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper and then colored the cute gnomes and their perch with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once they were colored, I returned the page to my Silhouette machine and cut it out.

I adhered the cardpanel to a teal colored cardbase. I completed the card by using a sentiment cut with a Spellbinders die in light teal cardstock. I cut the circle out of gold mirror washi paper and also out of beige craft form. I added the sentiment to the mirror washi and then that to the craft foam so that I have some dimension for my sentiment.

We would love to have you join us in the Outlawz Progressive Challenge. Remember you will automatically get the image if you participated in the challenge last month.
