Birthday Flowers

Hello friends, today I have another card to show you that I made with one of the backgrounds that was a result of my play with Distress Oxide Inks a while ago in, which I tried different background inking techniques.

I needed a birthday card and so decided that was the right time to try out the Honey Bee Stamps Coneflower dies. I cut one flower out of white watercolor paper and the other one out of teal cardstock. I colored the watercolor one with two shades of Arteza Real Brush Pens, using water to blend the colors. I colored the cardstock one with only the dark shade of the pen and a little bit of water. You can see a difference in my two flowers, the top one being the watercolor paper one.

I cut my background panel down to be a bit smaller than an A2 cardpanel and matted it with teal cardstock. I added the two flowers in opposite corners so that the light area of the background was still visible. A Gummiapan sentiment die completed my card.
