Our Friends

Wow, where did January go to?? Well since it is the 1st of Feb I have a new Outlawz Progressive Challenge DT project to share with you. This month our sponsor is All Dressed Up Stamps and the image is this cutie called My Best Friend.

I printed the digi out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper and colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils and a red gel pen for the heart on her backpack.  I had decided to use papers from a Kaisercraft paper stack that I had in my stash and so coordinated my coloring accordingly. Once it was completed, I cut it out with a Hero Arts Oval die.

I cut a bigger oval from the same set out of one of the patterned papers in the pack. I created a cardpanel with another paper from the stack and using yet others, I cut the butterflies and the flowers with some Spellbinders dies. The sentiment is one of the die cuts in the back of the paper stack that I cut down with a Hero Arts circle die.

I completed the card by assembling the pieces onto the cardpanel and adding three green flatback pearls from my stash. I then adhered the panel to a light green cardbase.

We would love to see what you create with this cute image. Come and join us at the Outlawz Progressive Challenge. We have a different sponsor even month and you automatically receive the new image when you participated the month before.
