I sized the image in Silhouette Studio after removing the wagon string from the image with GIMP. I wanted to replace that with real twine. I printed the image out onto Canson C' a Grain Drawing paper and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils and some gel pens. I cut it out with my Silhouette after I had colored it and ran a black marker around all the cut edges. I also created a shadow that I then cut out of vellum.
The background paper is a digital paper from the Flower Power paper pack by GeckoGalz. The vellum shadow helped to mute the paper a little around the image so that it would pop some off the background without hiding any more of the pretty paper. I added the twine to the cart and her hand and then glued the elements together before adding them to the cardpanel which in turn was glued to an orange cardbase. The sentiment is computer generated, printed and cut out.
We look so forward to seeing your interpretation of this image over at the Outlawz Progressive Challenge. Remember you will get the new image in your email for free every month if you used the image and entered it the month before. How fun is that??

The coloring on this is fantastic. I'm trying to empty most of my wagon.

Lovely card! Fabulous colouring on your image, Monica and I like the red twine pulling the cart.. I love the symbolism you place in 'pulling a little red wagon' - that is so true!x
